Here at Fairytale Productions, we love startups! We are big supporters of small business and individual creativity. However, when it comes to something as important as your wedding day photography and videography, we wanted to give you a few key things to consider as you make this important investment. Here are 3 reasons to book with an established Photo & Video company instead of a new, small operation without much history or industry reputation (even if they're talented!) 1) Established Trust in Your Full Experience Like we said, we LOVE it when new talent comes on the scene! We used to be in their shoes and KNOW the challenges that
2016 was a great year for us here at Fairytale Productions! We had the privilege of being part of hundreds of weddings across Michigan, Ohio and Florida. We also received the honors of : WeddingWire Couple's Choice 2017 The Knot's Best of Weddings 2017 And Borrowed & Blue's Silver Award in Videography! We thought you may want to see a few of the highlights from the year in Videography! Take a look. Reach out to your wedding specialist if haven't yet booked a
As you may know, the vast majority of wedding engagements begin between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. That means the busiest booking season for major wedding providers are the early months of the year. We are definitely in full swing here at Fairytale Productions. We wanted to feature this gorgeous shoot of Maggie & Justin from January 4th in Kissimmee, Florida for some Spring session ideas. We know our northern clients won't see the warm, sunny weather for a few more months -- but we hope this gives you some inspiration and excitement as you plan your own engagement photo shoot! Late Summer / Early Fall Wedding Photography: Lazy J Ranch in Milford, Michigan Everything was bright and joyous for Paige and Brad, our absolutely adorable couple from August 6th at the Lazy J Ranch in Milford, Michigan! These two hired two photographers with us and made it so easy to capture their love and wedding day story. The sunflowers and golden afternoon light made everything warm and magical, and was accented beautifully by their carefully crafted details and decor. Thank you Paige and Brad for letting us be a part of your special day!
When it comes to choosing the right wedding videography package, it's important to consider both the quality of the footage and the final edits included in comparison to your budget. One of the main differences that separates our Premium Wedding Video Package from the Traditional Packages is that it has a longer artistic edit: the Cinematic Main Feature. The Cinematic Main Feature is 8-20 minutes long as opposed to the 3-5 minute Highlight Film that comes with the Traditional packages. It is also a little more artistic in nature because the Premium package comes with two videographers (so there is more footage to work with) and because of the
Why Videography? Why not just Photography? In this modern age of wedding planning, videography can start lower on the priority list of important vendors, although its popularity is on the rise. Photography and DJ -- important, of course -- are sometimes thought of as the most important pieces to check off the planning the list and videography is left to "see how much is left in the budget" or sometimes not thought of at all. Here at Fairytale Productions, however -- and in most wedding industry insider-circles -- videography is seen as a top priority, perhaps right after the date and venue. Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE photography.
Vadim and Rachel gave us the privilege of capturing their day via wedding Photography and Videography on July 3rd! They hired 2 photographer and 2 videographers. Ceremony and reception were both held at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills, Michigan. These two had THREE different languages spoken between all the friends and family: Russian, Hebrew, and English! We are so excited for their new journey together and look forward to all the joy from their wedding day to spill into their newlywed life and beyond!
As we did for Spring, we thought it was time for some Summer Engagement inspiration! Here are just a handful from our summer engagement sessions. We can't wait to provide the wedding photography for these gorgeous couples in the fall of this year and into 2017!
It was our joy to provide all 4 services (Photo, Video, DJ, and Photo Booth) for the sweet duo Stuart and Samantha at the Belleville Yacht Club! Their outdoor ceremony had a perfect summer vibe with a little breeze blowing through, and their decorative details were personalized and beautifully done for both the ceremony and reception. We were so thankful to be selected to capture their moments for them via both Photography and Videography -- enjoy taking a look here! Congratulations again Stuart and Samantha! By Kristin Joseph | Sales & Online Media As you can imagine, we watch a lot of wedding videos doing what we do! Every wedding film is touching and special in its own way as it tells the unique story of that unique bride and groom's wedding day. But every once in a while, a video comes by that seems to stand out a little, even to strangers who have never met the couple -- heartfelt, joyful, and even emotional videos.
